We are a low-cost counselling service, offering short- and long-term counselling to adult clients.
At in CBS Desk we offer therapy to adults across the UK via Zoom and telephone. Recent research has shown that remote counselling can be equally effective as in-person therapy so wherever you live, you can still get the quality support you need.
We provides a general counselling service with an integrative approach. This means that we are not able to support individuals with more complex mental health needs or to offer specialist counselling.
Since this service is online we are not able to offer counselling for all mental health presentations. In particular, we would be unable to see you if you have any of the following:
Any diagnosis of a personality disorder
Current or recent psychosis
Severe trauma
Financial Burden & Stress
In addition, if you are currently suffering from severe distress or suicidal ideation you may not be suitable for our low-cost service. You can search for a therapist in your area at the following websites: UKCP, The Counselling Directory, The BACP.
Please note that In living wisdom does not offer a crisis service or emergency response and our phone lines and emails are only available within office hours. Unfortunately, In living wisdom is not best placed to work with you if you are under the age of 18, have an active addiction or if you are receiving care for a psychiatric condition.
“The aim of counselling is to provide an opportunity to people & community to work towards living in a more satisfying and resourceful way.”
